Feeling gulti and extremely worried

Dear Doc,

I am a 24-year-old male and is not sexually active. Exacly 4 weeks earlier, mistakenly, I went to a prostitute and received oral sex (protected) and sexual intercourse (protected).

No symptoms appeared so far - but there is two little red dots (not bumps) below the penis head which is making me nervous - and I have everything including HIV tested 7 days after the incident - the results were all negative.

My doctor told me not to worry about, but I am experiencing quilt and discomfort about what I've done.

Should I get everything tested again soon?

Your risk was zero and you have already seen a doctor who reassured you that nothing is wrong.  I can't add much except to say your symptoms don't sound like HIV or any other STD and to reassure you again.  I don't think you need repeat HIV testing.  But as I have said many times on this forum, for people who are especially nervous about HIV, having a negative tests a few weeks later often is more reassuring than any advice I can give.  So if you want to get retested, feel free.

I think I am going to get tested for everything just for the peace of mind. My mind has been driving me crazy lately, but I have learnt to relax a bit and trying not stress too much on this.

I have passed the 30-day mark. Should I get it tested now and then once more after the 90-day mark too?
