Fordyces spots???

by cart9739, Mar 07, 2009 11:12PM
I have had these non-painful, white, small bumps all around my shaft and sack area of my penis for a few years now.  I was wondering if a) they can be transmitted to the mouth through oral sex, and b) if i should be worrying.  Very rarely (maybe once every 4 or 5 months) one will get irritated, and swell enough to pop, clear white fluid will ooze out, as well as a bit of blood.  can anyone explain to me what these are? I was thinking they were Fordyce's Spots, but could be something more serious like Genital Warts or HPV...

Any help is appreciated!

They are probably fordyce spots or hair follicles, but I'd get it checked just to be sure.  If its either of those, you can't transmit anything.

All of the white bumps seem to be connected to a pubic hair as well.  Does this change your diagnosis?

Well, I said hair follicles already.  Just get it checked out to be sure.
