My friend has bumps on his rear, and he said they hurt, are red, and have puss or something and that they spread on his leg. What could this be?

It could be lots of things - herpes, staph, MRSA, pimples, etc etc.

He needs to get them checked. It could be serious, so he needs to not sit around and wait for it to get better.
