Genital Herpes?

Genital Herpes?

For about a month and half now I have developed about four red blotches on the head of my penis; one of the blotches is partly on the head and part on underside of the head towards the shaft.  They do not itch or burn nor are they "open sores".  I first noticed them after having anal sex with my wife and they never went away.

They are just red smooth blotches and they tend to form a flakey scab.  The only thing related to this is a cold sore I have on my upper lip and anal itching.  there are no sores, but it seems irritated.  I thought it might be hemroids from lifting weights or something.  Does this sound like genital herpes?

No, it doesn't sound at all like herpes.  I would wonder about psoriasis, but many other dermatological (non-STD) conditions could be responsible.  You'll need to see a health care provider to get a diagnosis.

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but I have a question along the same lines and cannot post a new thread.

I've been having intercourse with this girl for almost 5 weeks now. Before dating her I had not been sexually active in 5 months and had no symptoms. About 3 weeks ago, we had aggressive sex 4-5 times in a 24 hour period and at the end of the weekend I noticed a sore toward the base of my penis. I didn't think too much of it because it was not causing pain until after sex and then it was only sensitive to the touch. We had sex a few more times repeatedly and I noticed a few more small sores around the same area. I used some Neosporin and they'd start to heal, then we'd have intercourse again and they would get irritated. I took a few days off from having intercourse... during this period I used the neosporin and they healed up within days. They were never blisters and they never scabbed. There is still a very faint, white area where the small sores were. Also worth noting... we had intercourse while she was on her period.
Now lately, I'm noticing other symptoms which could be related. It seems like it started immediately. 2 weeks ago I tried a different position which allowed me to further penetrate than any other. During intercourse, I could feel the head hitting her cervix?... and when we were finished, I had a weird/slightly painful sensation that started at the tip of the penis and extended down into my testicles. It persisted for a while and eventually subsided but I think I still faintly feel it and definitely felt it last night during intercourse. During intercouse last night, the head felt very numb and the ejaculation was painful. This week my upper legs near my buttocks seemed to bother me and my buttocks has also been sore to sit on. I also have a general feeling of discomfort almost all the time. If I think about it, it feels like I need to urinate but I haven't noticed pain while urinating. There is also no discharge.
I've made an appointment with my primary care doctor to be tested for everything possible but right now I'm freaking out. Is it possible I have a UTI? I am almost sure I have an external hemmorhoid that has gone untreated. The girl I'm with said she was tested a few months ago and shows no signs of an STD. Is it possible that I'm inventing problems?
Thank you for your time.
