Genital Warts possibility?

About 4 years ago I had a pseudo-sexual encounter with a girl who I later found out was afflicted with genital warts. We did not have sex, there was no penetration, and as far as I know she wasn't in the middle of an outbreak of any sort, but the base and shaft of my penis came in direct contact with her vagina atleast once. It's been four years and I've had no outbreaks, and every std test I've had since then has came up negative. What are the chances that I could have contracted genital warts from the scenario I've described above.

There is no way to esimate the risk from a single exposure like that, except to say it is extremely low, probably zero.  Anyway, if you were infected 4 years ago, you can assume your immmune system would have cleared it up by now.  If you were to develop genital warts someday, I would assume they were acquired elsewhere.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

I've had this blister the lip of my vagina for about 2 years now. I'm afraid to go to the doctor because i'm afraid of the results. I NEVER had unprotected sex with my ex but we did have unprotected oral sex. The blister is sore when I bother it. I can feel it through my skin and it seems as though its a bunch of small balls under the blister. When I bother the blister the next day it gets puss I assume from irritation. It NEVER goes away so I don't think its herpes. It's only one blister. I used to shave a lot and the similar hardness would come but it usually went right away. Also, a blister never formed.

When I squeeze it, it hurts really bad once I've bothered it. Before I bother it, its ok when I touch it until I do it for a while. Also, sometimes when puss comes, blood does also. Then i realize the inside comes out and I can feel the inside of the blister and I can see the little balls and they are red. I can pull them and its painful. It seems like a bunch of skin compacted together under my skin. I also realize no hair grows out of the blister but hair grows out of the part the blister isn't covering. I always think that when the blister opens i can just pull the little balls out but they are attached to the inside of my thigh so of course that hurts. Please help me with any way to get rid of this or tell me what it could be. thanks

About three weeks ago, I saw a doctor about a rash that I was having.  I shave down there, swim, and work out alot, so conditions are great for a little bugger to nest down there.  Ended up that I had jock itch, and used an antifungal and some hydrocortisone and everything went away.  The nurse told me that I may see a lot of folliculitis show up, as the jock itch goes away, which happened, about 2 weeks ago.  I have had follicutlitis before, due to shaving, etc, so i used some chlindamycin pads i had and they started to go away. However, one bump did not go away. This was also right around when I had three tests for school, so i was very stressed and not getting much sleep.  This bump was on the lower shaft of my penis, not where i usually get the folliculitis, although i have a few times. It looks a little different then the usual folliculitis(like a pimple) and does not pop like they.  If i try to pop it, it hurts ALOT.  As the initial episode of folliculitis went away, this bump scabbed over, and looked like it was going away, so i figured it was nothing.  A few days later, I had sex (protected for vaginal, but not oral), since i figured it was nothing.  After that a few days went by and the bump kind of came back, but not really that bad.  Three days ago, the bump came back in full affect.  It is maybe the size of a pea in terms of circumference.  It is smooth, protruding out a little and a little darker than my skin.    If i touch it, the skin goes white for a second or two.  I am very concerned and not sure what to do.  I have not had unprotected sex in a while, but I have within the last year.  I scheduled an appt with a primary care doctor, but wont be able to get in until monday.  Should i try to see someone sooner?  should i go directly to a dermatologist, or will an internist be able to determine what this is?  Thank you very much for your time and help.
