Pardon? I'm quite aware that HPV remains in the body... I was talking about the actual warts, themselves.

You did not say "there is no cure for HPV". You implied that the warts remain on the body and there is no treatment for them, which is inaccurate.

Do not confuse your clarity issue as ignorance on my part. What you just typed is not what you said in your initial post.

nope.  the virus is still living inside you.  freezing just removes the actual wart.  I'm in the process of having that done, but chances are that one day they will come back and i will have to go through this whole process again.  However, there are cases where people's immune systems actually fight off and kill the virus.  But most likely once you have hpv you will always have hpv.

Actually, you're wrong. Warts are very much curable. A few years ago, a friend of mine said that she had them and the doctor froze them off. She's back to normal. IOW... no more warts. Your doctor must be a  complete idiot.

I have them, they suck, there is no cure, but they are not the end of the world.  Now that I got that out of the way...my warts are very atypical.  They don't look like cauliflower like described on many websites.  They look like little pimples.  Me and my doc both thought they were just pimples until she did a vinegar test (you can do at home).  Soak a cloth in vinegar and wipe the area where you think the warts are.  If the bumps turn white, you have warts.  It really isn't the end of the world.  Almost everyone has some form of HPV.  Well, moral of the story, if you're ever worried about them just get them checked out!
