Going out of my mind with worry.

Four days ago I had protected sex with a sex worker. She performed oral and vaginal intercourse - both with a condom. The condom did not break. There was no kissing and her mouth touched no part of me that wasn't covered by the condom. She was also completely shaven.  Firstly, what's the chance of contracting an STD in this situation? Secondly, is there a chance I could catch crabs even though she had no pubic hair? Finally, I was reading about gonorrhea and, since I read about testicular pain being a symptom I have been feeling it. I have no discharge or pain urinating and suspect it may be psychosomatic pain triggered by my extreme anxiety and terrible guilt, is this likely or is there a  significant chance I am infected? I am going out of my mind with worry. Any help very much appreciated.

Please, stop looking for things.  You took all the necessary precautions.  Honestly, the chance of you getting anything is far below 5%.  Let it go and keep this experience in mind if you ever consider this kind of sexual activity again.

As a follow up; five days have passed and I have no symptoms of anything at all. Given the successful protection am I out of line to assume I'm in the clear? Also, I have not observed any crabs or eggs or experienced any itching, if I had crabs would I be experiencing symptoms after five days? All help welcomed.

Thanks for your reply. I am prone to being overanxious and am finding it very difficult to stay on too of this. Hopefully I can begin to put it behind me now.

No, your chance is very very very low.  Condoms are very effective in protecting against std's.  And since it didn't break, then it seems like your pains are caused by the anxiety and guilt you feel over this.  And if she had crabs, yes there was a chance you would get it.
