Gonorrhea/Orgasm... Correlation?

Hi,
I was sexually involved with a guy who just moved here.  He has been here around 5 months I believe.  We have been sexually active together for about 3.  He slept with my roommate also... about 1 & 1/2 months ago.  He has never been able to orgasm, with me nor the time he slept with my roommate.This past weekend we slept together and he finally came to orgasm.  He called me later that night to tell me he was very red and itched very badly.  The next day he went and got tested.  The test results arent back yet, but they diagnosed it as either chlamydia or gonorrhea and gave him mediicine for both.  My roommate and I were tested and given the same medicine the next day.  My roommate nor I had symptoms.  I have heard that if you have had gonorrhea for a while it is almost impossible to orgasm, I'm thinking that the belated orgasm my male partner had triggered his onset of sever itching and redness?? Please help, myth or fact?

When someone is infected with gonorrhea or any STD it does not prevent them from having an orgasm.
