Gonorrhea Treatment

Dear Doctor,

I was diagnosed of Gonorrhea in April 2011. I went to the hospital because I started having a constant burning sensation on my penis about 3 days after the intercourse (whether I am urinating or not) which was worsened by a red swollen opening of penis and then a thick white discharge from the tip of my penis about five days after the intercourse. The following drugs were prescribed the for me Ciprofloxacin. After using the drug for some days, the burning sensation stopped and the red swollen vanished. I continued to use the drugs until I comleted the dosage.

Despite that the burning sensation and the red swelling vanished, I still have the thick white discharge from the tip of my penis till date.

It is three months now and I still have this complaint. Please what is my fate? How do I get rid of this gonorrhea?

Please help.

this is not the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.

you need to go and be seen and get additional testing done to find out what is going on.
