Gonorrhea and anal inflammation

Hello Doctor,
I am posting this question here because my earlier questions in free forums is very short and does not give the insight I need. one line answer in caps are not helping. so here it is, again.
I visited erotic massage parlor almost 12 days ago. the masseuse was fully dressed but she kissed me thrice (which I didn't expect btw) and it did involve exchange of saliva but they were brief ~5 second kisses. it is important to note that I had lip crack which was just fresh. I asked the community of the possibility of contracting STDs, specifically HIV and more specifically gonorrhea. I realize that common understanding is that it is a low risk for HIV, but I have read in the internet that the same may not necessarily be all that low risk for gonorrhea. a responder advised that there is nothing to worry about.
while I am thankful to him for sharing his opinion, I still have a few unanswered questions.
1. since the mode of contact was through kissing, is there a risk of contracting pharyngeal gonorrhea. also, if I am infected, will the pharyngeal infection spread to other parts of the body?
2. I am planning to get tested through one of those anonymous testing sites and they only do urine test it seems. so how would I determine if I have other forms of the infection?
3. finally, I am seeing is penile discharge which is clear and not very smelly but it might very well be precum because I do fantasize every now and then in a day. also I feel on-and-off itchy  sensation in the anus and some times mild irritation. in addition, I did see that the throat region is mildly reddish than rest of the palate and I feel the urge to clear my throat over the past one week. i hope it is due to paranoia but I cannot be careful enough. do the symptoms say anything?
thanks.

The chance that the lesion you describe is a chancre is very, very low.  Personally, I would not worry but if you are concerned, you should have a qualified clinician take a look.  EWH

doc, thanks again for the last response. I have another Q and the timing couldn't be worse for me. i see a red bumpy spot in my foreskin with a small crater. very much looks like a chancre i see on the internet. ugh. my quick question is will kissing result in the chancre in the genital region?. sorry this may sound stupid, but as I mentioned the timing of this thing is quite bad. and, if it is in fact a syphilis chancre, will testing as early as 2 weeks be reliable?

Thanks Doc. your assurance makes me feel much better. I guess I won't be doing the tests.

Welcome to our forum. I’ll be happy to try to help.  The short answer is that gonorrhea and similar STDs are not transmitted by kissing.  There is a theoretical possibility that if your partner had a sore on their mouth that direct contact with the sore might lead to transmission of infection such as herpes or syphilis but  but diseases such as gonorrhea are simply not transmitted in such a way.  Neither of us has EVER seen or heard of such a case despite having worked in the field for a combined period of over 70 years.  No sore, no realistic risk of any STD

I would urge you not to use the internet for information on these topics.  The internet has great power not only to inform but also to mislead.  While there is much useful information available on the internet, much of it is also taken out of context or a bit unbalanced and some of it is just plain wrong.

In answer to your specific questions:
1. since the mode of contact was through kissing, is there a risk of contracting pharyngeal gonorrhea. also, if I am infected, will the pharyngeal infection spread to other parts of the body?
See above- there is no reason to think this put you at any risk for pharyngeal gonorrhea.  Pharyngeal infections stay in the throat, they do not spread to other sites such as the genitals.

2. I am planning to get tested through one of those anonymous testing sites and they only do urine test it seems. so how would I determine if I have other forms of the infection?
Testing is a waste of time but if you feel you must for your own peace of mind, the only meaningful test would be with a swab taken from your throat.

3. finally, I am seeing is penile discharge which is clear and not very smelly but it might very well be precum because I do fantasize every now and then in a day. also I feel on-and-off itchy  sensation in the anus and some times mild irritation. in addition, I did see that the throat region is mildly reddish than rest of the palate and I feel the urge to clear my throat over the past one week. i hope it is due to paranoia but I cannot be careful enough. do the symptoms say anything?
These symptoms are meaningless and I suspect that what you are seeing are normal urethral secretions. Most pharyngeal gonorrhea is asymptomatic.  Further, as I explained if you had acquired gonorrhea in your throat, it would not cause a penile discharge.

I hope my comments are helpful.  You really have no reason to worry about the contact you describe. EWH
