Gonorrhea through oral sex

Doc..I will try to make this brief. I have written in before, but I am bouncing off the walls about this and don't know where else to turn to get a straight answer. I do not have a doc I can ask these questions of. You are my only hope.

As you might remember from my previous posts, I allowed a woman to perform unprotected fellatio on me. The entire act lasted maybe 30 seconds to a minute. This was a huge mistake, and I am in a committed relationship, and am DEATHLY afraid of transmitting any STD to my girlfriend.

Is there a likely chance of contracting gonorrhea through this oral sex encounter? I know you have said that chlamydia is almost impossible to contract in this way.

Additionally, I had a 6 day, 500mg supply of Levaquin left over from an old prostate infection. I went ahead and took the final 6 pills to be sure I killed anything I might have gotten. I understand that the normal dose of Levaquin to treat gonorrhea is one pill of 250mg.

My questions:
1. Is there any reasonable chance I picked up gonorrhea from this encounter?

2. IF my some reason I did pick this up, I assume that the Levaquin would have killed it. I started taking the Levaquin 6 days post exposure. I did not have any symptoms whatsoever up to that point. (Still none) I did have unprotected sex twice with my girlfriend on Sunday. (9 days post exposure, 3 days on Levaquin 500mg) Considering I took the first dose on Thursday and the sex happened on Sunday, IF I had gotten gonorrhea, (again, chances??) would I have put her at risk? Or would I have killed the bacteria already by then? I'm FREAKING OUT! HELP!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE. I cannot express how much your advice has helped me and many others. You are a giant among men for what you do here.

This has to stop; it is a waste of your money and my time and provides no educational benefit to other forum users, which is the forum's main purpose.  I do not provide personal medical advice.  From previous responses, you know there is no significant risk from the kind of exposure you describe.  Levaquin is active against gonorrhea and would cure it in someone who was exposed.

You should ask your health care provider whether the amount of unreasoned anxiety you are experiencing, despite the reassurances you already have been given, is a sign of an underlying problem that would benefit by referral to a mental health professional.  I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism.

I will have no further replies and will delete any "yes, but" or "I'm still worried" responses.

If it helps, i understand why you are bouncing off walls as i have been doing same.  The doc says it is "unreasoned" and logically i know he is right but I keep playing every whatif through my head too.

Doc...I would like you to know that I am persuing counselling, and the only reason I write in is because I do not currently have a health care provider I can trust to give me the straight answers. I assure you that there are others out there just like me worrying about the same thing, and hence, these questions and answers to have an educational value. So, considering that fact, and the fact that I paid my money for answers, can you please answer my FINAL questions? I WILL NOT write in again.

1. If I did not get gonorrhea symptoms after 6 days is it safe to assume I was not infected?

2. Would I still have been infectious to my girlfriend after 3-4 days of the Levaquin 500mg?

3. If my partner in this exposure had gonorrhea of the throat and did not have sexual contact for 2 months, would it have already cleared up on it's own w/ no antibiotics?

Just get tested. All of this will be irrelevant.
