First of all - chillChills out. You are allowing this to consume you way too much. I encourage you to visit your doctor and just address the anxiety issues at this point. If need be - some medication if for nothing else but to sleep is a good idea. You can not continue to let this be your focus day in and day out.
At this point - wait another month and get a herpes WB and then call it a day. Whatever the WB shows go with that result. Meanwhile ask the fellow you were with to get himself a herpes blood test for some peace of mind.
I just called the manufaturers of Biokit to ask them about the faint dot. and they mentioned that I faint dot should of been read as a negative. That they were going to call the doctor to inform him that a faint dot should be represented as a negative.
I did tell this guy yesterday, he was all panicked because he has never seen anything unusual about himself (I just hope he does not have anything). I also had my husban tested and he tested negative so now I am really worried that I might have cought it this one time. I am going to have a western blot done for peace of mind
Herpes is not easily spreadable. It really is just as much about bad luck as anything. You can get it from a one time encounter but the risk of that happening are pretty darn low.
