HIV Anxiety - My Thank You for This Terriffic Website

Hi,

For 7 weeks (nearly every evening/weekend) I visited this site for reassurance and finally wanted to say thank-you with my donation.  Although I did not ask any questions on the forum, I wanted to be sure I contributed.

Having fallen into the "under 2 minutes of unprotected vaginal intercourse at a massage parlour category", at just under 8 weeks I'm thrilled to report that I tested negative for HIV (I also believe that I never caught andy STD from this incident).  I actually got these results several weeks ago and the incident now happened over 11 weeks ago.

Most certainly this whole ordeal was the scariest thing I've ever had to go through (personally).  At 30+ years of age, I had never done anything like this (never truly understood the risks) and subsequently my anxiety was thru the roof!  I would like to add that from weeks 9+ I have not second guessed or asked myself any what if type questions.  Negative.  I learned my lesson and it's time to move on, being more aware and using better judgement.

TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN A SIMILAR SITUATION... BE NICE TO YOURSELF.  I was very hard on myself throughout this experience and this was NOT WORTH IT.  ALSO, TRUST IN THE GOOD ADVICE/REASSURANCE OF THESE DOC's.  I did and it helped me get through!
