HIV/STD risk from unprotected oral

by helpmeplease329, Jul 02, 2008 04:15AM
Hello, am a 23 y/o male and had protected sex with a CSW 3-4 months ago. Performed unprotected oral as well. A couple weeks after encounter noticed a sensation when urinating that I need to go but when I do little or nothing would come out. A little bit of urine would drip after but no pus. This went away in about 5 days but has just started up again now. Also noticed tiny little white centred lumps at base of penis and surrounding groin are. HPV from this encounter was confirmed by my GP. I have just got a test done for all STD's and HIV and my question is:

1. What other (if any) STD's may I be at risk for?
2. What STD's sound like my symptoms?
3. Is HIV likely from this encounter?

Please help me and thank you in advance.

Hi,

1) Scabies/crabs but u will feel itchy all over and there will be tiny eggs in ur underware
chlamydia, gonorrehea u will have painful discharge when urinatingor assymptotic..only tests will tell
    syphillis by urine test

3) HIV very low risk for oral but still risk..is that homosexual or heterosexual encounter,
    keep using protection
anyway don't worry I think it is more liek an STD.

I got chlamydia by unprotected oral....treated by antibiotics

Regards and good luck,
FWK

If the CSW performed oral on you, you are at risk for gonorrhea, syphilis, NGU and herpes type 1.  (If you've ever had a cold sore, or the CSW didn't have any sores on or around her mouth, I wouldn't worry about herpes.)  Chlamydia may happen from oral sex, but its VERY rare.

If you haven't been tested for other stds other than HPV, you need to be.  Its doubtful that they would cause some of these symptoms, but you need to follow up with your doctor.

Hello and thank you for the replies.

I received protected oral but performed it unprotected.

I've been tested for all HIV/STD's and awaiting the results. I am very worried and anxious.

If you performed oral, did you get oral std testing done?  They should have done an oral swab as well as genital testing.
