I can't imagine HIV transmission by that route. Even if you had unprotected vaginal sex and the woman was HIV-infected, you probably had less than 1 in 1000 chance of getting HIV. And unless she is an injection drug user, the odds she actually had HIV are very low. So maybe your risk with a condom in place was something like 1 in 100,000. The likelihood of transmission by condom in your shorts has to be zilch. You have no realistic risk of HIV from this even.
As far as your other symptoms, I doubt you had any infection at all. I wouldn't lose any sleep over this event.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
she performed oral sex without protection. then she placed a condom on for vaginal sex and then took condom off for
oral sex again. 2 days after this encounter i started with sore throat, white tongue, taste in mouth changed and burning lips. it has now been one month since the encounter all initial symptoms have remained along with some nausea and dirreah everyday. been to doctors 3 times, no real cause determined for symptoms, I have had a full std panel of tests and a (hiv rna viral load six days after exposure) (oraquick antibody test 1 month after)
all negative
my questions if infected can symptoms start 2 days after,
and is there cause for hiv conseern for this incident. also i was hiiv neg before this encounter. no previous partners for 2 years.
I'm waiting for a reply from the doctor. U can read my post for their answer... I posted on May27 "STD - Please help".
