HIV from recieving oral.

I have a question abiut HIV.  I recieved brief oral from a person I don't know a few weeks ago.  Is there any chance of acquring HIV from this?  I have tested for everything else.  From what I understan there is no need to test for HIV but people on this forum seem very knowledgeable so I wanted another opinion.

Thanks

There is NO risk from receiving oral sex.  None.

You don't have anything to worry about, and if you did have HIV from another encounter, you wouldn't be having any kind of symptoms in a year, most likely.

i have another question, if i possibly do have hiv from recieving oral sex and i got it a year ago would i get sick alot in between that time? i also bodybuild and im really heavy into it, would i be able to gain weight like i have in muscle i gained at least 20 pounds and i feel really healthy but sluggish often, i do get colds and alergies often  not too too often tho. other than that i feel ok but hiv doesnt have many symptoms either. sorry for my anxiety and paranioa.

well i hope your right cuz i  have a gf and i hope to God that i dont have hiv cuz she probley will have it now. at first i didnt think much of it but a few months after i got a gf i heard that you can get hiv from recieving oral sex. now im just scared lots of anxiety  i pretty much feel like death lol.  so you dont think that i could get hiv from that? i just need a few more opinions until i get my test resaults back next week so i can kind of ease my mind. i talked to one doctor, he told me it was very very unlikely even if you had an open cut and she was bleeding from here gums cuz you need alot of fluid for the virus to pass threw.  i never told him that she was doing it pretty hard down there though is that a higher risk?  what do you think the symptoms would be in  years time from when that happend.
sorry for all the questions but if you could answer them it would be greatly greatly appreciated. thank you!

i was wondering if i could have contracted hiv from recieving oral sex, im very very worried i cannot stop thinking about it. it was about a year ago and i shaved down there and may have had a little cut possibly, but not sure it was a long time ago and cant remember.  she was a little rough with me down there, i heard that even if i had a cut and she was beelding it wasnt likely to get hiv. what can you tell me?

You don't need to be worried.  If you go to the HIV forum, the disclaimer at the top specifically states that oral sex is such a low risk that they might not even bother to answer your question.

Oral Sex is considered very low or no risk activity when it comes to hiv.  As long as you use a condom for vaginal and anal sex then your HIV status will always be negative.  It sounds like you covered yourself on the other testing..  HIV is a very fragile virus and is not easy to catch especially on one exposure..  You cannot get hiv from receiving oral sex...

I wouldn't worry about your brief oral exposure incident.

Take Care...
