HIV question..Really nervous

Hello,

I just had a routine casual blood test and the reports indicates that I was infected by Hepatitis B but my immune system was able to push it out.  I believe this was from a female Canadian escort three months ago in which we had a very brief protected intercourse and protected blowjob.  I am kind of nervous because if  Hepatitis B was able to get into my body, does it mean I am also at risk for HIV?  Aside from an one day fever that I had 3 weeks after the encounter, which I assume was the result Hepatitis B, I do not feel sick nor any other symptoms (Swollen lymph glands, rash, Headache, etc).

Thanks

Hello

You were at ZERO risk for Hep B and HIV from the exposure you describe with the Canadian escort 3 months ago.

If you do have Hep B, you didn't catch it in Canada.   Please re-test for Hep B, and ask your physican/care provider by what did they mean by, "my immune system was able to push it out"    Were you vaccinated for Hep B before?
