As a 21 year old, i've recently caught HPV and was only sexually active with 2 people in my life. I want to know if this will ever go away, knowing that i am young and have a strong immune system. Also, i recently noticed small warts and getting treated for them. Even though i've been getting the warts, is there a chance that the HPV will go away?
Generally speaking, it's thought that after 6 months to a year without symptoms, you can consider them cleared. In the meantime, you can feel better knowing HPV is pretty ubiquitous--just about everyone with more than a couple of partners will contract at least one strainStrains . You're in good company :-)
