HPV concern

Hi I had a concern about HPV about myself. Well here it goes, about two months ago I had sexual intercourse with a massage parlor maid. I used a condom but when I removed the condom I got fluids on my penis. The next day the head of penis enlarged in size kinda like it was inflammed, but no irritation.
The area were I got fluids on my penis changed in color not drastically but you could tell the difference. Also the skin was rather irritated/altered. I've done all the blood test for STDs and came back with a clean slate.
But my penis hasnt gone back to its normal self well to me it hasnt. I noticed slight changes here and there like ex: more veins appearing on my penis/small red veins/little bumps on the head of my penis when its erected(only when I put some presure/tension on the head I can see those little elevated bumps, but if not it looks fine). For a little while I was trying online med oils for warts on my penis, but it only irritaed my skin. So I've stopped and got seen at a community health department about STD's twice. The nurse/doctor told me it looked fine the first time they saw me, I told them about the swelling but she said its nothing. The next visit she did mentioned that she noticed the swelling had gone down, she just gave me diferent scenarios/possibilities why the penis would change size/color at times.
Just recently I've been feeling pressure in my anal area. My bowel movements arent as normal as they use to be could that mean anal warts? Its like my penis is slightly changing slowly infront of my eyes. Please help if you can thank you.

Some people have a bigger problem with persistent or recurrent warts than other people.  It doesn't mean they are abnormal, just different.  The best advice is to just keep treating the warts as they appear.  I have never heard of a patient in which this sort of problem continued indefinitely; eventually the problem will cease and warts will stop recurring.  No serious harm will come; cancer is not likely.

I would like to know something about genital warts. My friend's son  contracted warts several years ago and has had them removed several times. Each time they came back within a year. Can this lead to cancer? Will he be able to live a normal life? If it can lead to cancer how long will it take? Is there a cure or something that can cause the outbreaks to be less frequent? He is about 30 years old. What are his options? Please advise

If you're examining your penis as closely as it sounds, I think you're almost guaranteed to see changes - even if they don't exist. You seem to be obsessing over these "symptoms", but if doctors have seen you and you've been tested for STDs, then it seems to me that you are fine. Really.

And as for HPV, just about everyone gets at least one strain over the course of their lifetime. It's really not a big deal. I promise, if you got HPV from someone sneezing on you, it would be treated like the potentially annoying skin disease it really is. If you feel this is causing you a lot of emotional distress (and it does sound like you're very anxious), I encourage you to seek counseling. You don't have to live with this kind of anxiety and worry :-)

Well doctor now that you mention about the "massaged" section I think I do have HPV now. I know this might sound crazy but after I removed my condom and got fluids on my penis I just masterbated quickly which in then would be a quote on quote "massaged" action. So thats why to me I''ve been experiencing skin alteration/hpv symptoms? Maybe Im just being paranoid Doctor but I just have a gut feeling. I've been so depressed, I know maybe I should just suck it up and live life and tell myself "Thats what you get for being stupid". Anyways thank you doctor for your time and knowledge.

How blatantly obvious are genital warts, and can they appear on the penis head?

None of this sounds like HPV or any other STD.  Few STDs will cause infection just by contact of skin with fluids.  Getting HPV requires that the virus be "massaged" into the skin during sex; fluid contact alone probably is not enough.  If your health care provider thought your penis looked normal, then almost certainly they are right.  I'm quite sure nothing is wrong; your sense of a different appearance to your penile skin probably represents heightened awareness due to anxiety.  But if you want still more assurance, consider visiting either your local health department STD clinic or a dermatologist.

Good luck-- HHH, MD
