HPV in men leading to penile cancer and affecting partner

I am 26 male. A year back I had protected sex two times with two different CSW's. Did STD testing and all results came negative. I was extremely confident that i can put this episode behind and move on in life. Then I read HPV. I have no signs of warts. My main concern is "high-risk" HPV types. I am uncircumcised and I read that "high-risk" HPV types lead to penile cancer especially in uncircumcised men. On top of this, after a month of this episode, I was involved with my partner performing unprotected oral sex on me and we had unprotected sex. She was a virgin and I am afraid I might have infected her.

The other thing that worries me is she can get oral cancer because she performed oral sex on me and has a chance of cervical cancer as well. I am thinking of getting married to her. I am concerned about her and my health and was wondering if I should be this worried.  This is the only sexual history i have. should i be regularly seeing a doctor for checking my penis and should i also recommend her to get checked for oral and cervical cancer. I feel I brought this on her. I am going to consult Dr. H but your advice will also be helpful.

You are worrying way too much about all this.  If your gf gets regular pap tests then if there are any changes due to hpv it will be picked up on quickly.

As I already said - there is not a commercially available test for hpv in males. The incidence of penile cancer is very low.  There's no commercially available test for oral hpv either.

Thanks grace for your advice. I am concerned because lot of them mention in the forum that penile cancer occurs in uncircumcised men who have HPV.

Should i tell her to take gardasil even though we already have engaged in unprotected sex once or twice plus now that it is over a year from that exposure i read that HPV infection might have gone from me.

Is there a way to detect penile cancer, oral cancer. I know pap smear test can detect cervical cancer. i m concerned for her.
Thanks

Your gf can get the gardasil hpv vaccine series if she hasn't had it already.

You are worrying way too much. condoms aren't 100% protective against hpv transmission but they help quite a bit.  We don't have a commercially available hpv test for males at this time but the risk of infection with a cancer causing strain of hpv that will lead to cancer in males is very low. so is the risk of transmitting hpv to the oral area to your partner.

No reason to keep looking at your penis non-stop. First off the types of hpv that cause cancer do not show any symptoms that you can see with the naked eye.  You are making way more out of this than needs to be.
