HPV like herpes? PLEASE HELP!

is hpv similar to herpes?! if i have had hpv in the past, will it show on my partners results? we are both getting tested soon - thanks.

they are both viruses...that's really all they have in common. there is no hpv test for men, so no, but he most likely will have it from you. there is no cure, so there is nothing either of u can do about it. something like 80% of people have some form of hpv, so don't kick urself about it.

thank you. i just got this msg from him frantically asking me to get tested...i was tested 6 months ago and nothing came up...i think he's frantic because he had unprotected sex with myself and someone else. of course i am getting tested again for sure but i was just curious. thank you
