You don't have a STD. Follow up with your Dr if you still have the symptoms in a week or so. Not STD related.
Got the results from the second semen sample, nothing was found so all looked ok. Doc told me to finish the Doxy and that I shouldn't worry to infect my wife with anything.
Anyway my symptoms keep existing. (pain in area between scrotum/rectum, sometimes pain while urinating/orgasming, no discharge). Is it retarded to think I have gonorrhea from the event I described and that the Cipro/Doxy didn't cure it??
Read what has been written already.
Grace? Vance? Anyone? Plz I just want to be able to put this behind me :(
Turns out the idiot didn't test me for STD's. He sent my morning urine and semen to the lab for basic analysis (whatever that may be). The antibiogram showed nothing in the urine but small amount of bacteria in the semen, yet nothing conclusive (he said something about less then 10K, not sure what it ment). Since my symptoms (burning while urinate/ejaculate, pain in area between scrotum/rectum) didn't changed while taking Cipro he switched me to Doxy for another 10 days (1 x 200mg/day). He also wanted a second semen sample to be checked, I'll get the results this week.
Can I be sure this isn't chlamy/gon? Would they've noticed something in the urine? Would Cipro cured it by now (and since I still have symptoms, it can't be gon/chlam)? Tnx for your replies.
Think I'd ask if I knew for sure it was safe? Tnx for your reply, I hope you're right. I'll post if I get the results.
Your asking questions about almost a no risk situation and actually in my estimation it is no risk.
He might have been able to see something. Thos STD's if symptoms occur would show up as STD symptoms.
Also, is it possible that chlamydia/gon would show up with symptoms as a prostate infection? I've read prostatitis can be a result of a chlam/gon infection but could it occur after only six days exposure?
Do you think if it was chlamydia/gon he would have noticed something under the microscope? Any idea what the stick was for?
you shouldn't be having sex at this point until the prostatitis has cleared up.
odds are this isn't a std going on. they aren't easily transmitted through fluids like that.
in the future, to best protect yourself, if your pants are off, a condom should be on. saves you worry and testing.
