Yes sir, nothing leaking at all, but thank you
Herpes never causes symptoms like yours.
I don't know what to make of a "leaking feeling". Is there actual leaking of urine or fluid? If not, I would think this also is a psychological symptom, not evidence of a prostate problem.
Since you're under the care of a doctor who thought you might have a UTI, I suggest you continue to follow up with that office. But you can definitely move on with confidence you have no STD.
also, would of I developed hsv2 sores by now if it was that?
Dr , one last question, do you think its possible the leaking feeling could have something to do with an inflamed prostate
thanks DR, they were percribed from my doctor for a cUTI, I will call and check, I was also taking an azo tablet one every 12 hours because I guess they cause yeast infections.
but thank you for your time Dr. Handsfield,
maybe my mind focusing on my area is doing something
Welcome to the STD forum. Sorry your symptoms are continuing.
As we discussed last time, it is clear your symptom are not due to HIV or any other STD. There is nothing in the information you provide now that changes my opinion or advice about it. There simply are no STDs that cause such symptoms, and as discussed last time, your exposure was low risk for STDs. And your negative gonorrhea and chlamydia tests reliably exclude both these STDs.
Bacterial UTI also does not do this and I see no reason for you to be taking Levaquin. I'm sure it will have no effect on your symptoms, which are not due to any infection. If that treatment was prescribed by a health professional, check with him or her whether to continue treatment. If you are treating yourself without professional advice, I advise you to stop the drug and see a doctor or clinic.
As we also discussed last time, all the symptoms you describe are most typical for the physical manifestations of anxiety, stress, or other psychological origin -- i.e. normal body sensations or trivial symptoms you otherwise would ignore or not even be aware of, except for heightened sensitivity for psychological reasons. See a doctor if they continue, but I am confident no infection of any kind is responsible for them.
Best wishes-- HHH, MD
