Help Doc...very scared of HIV

Doc, hopefully you can put my mind at ease. So here goes.

I am a 30 year old circumsized white male in good health who uses no drugs.  Recently I traveled to an island of Thailand in March for vac and picked up a 27 year old bartender Thai girl who stated to me that she wasn't a pro.  Once back at my hotel I put two condoms on and we engaged in vaginal intercourse which lasted a few minutes.  I didn't finish inside the condoms, I took the condoms off and pleasured mylelf with my hand on her chest.  After finishing, I noticed small drops of blood on the mattress between her legs, but don't recall any on me or the condom.

Later that morning we again had vaginal intercourse. Using two condoms, I again put myself inside her vagina.  I immediately felt wetness and put my hand down between her legs and noticed that she was bleeding (she was obviously on her period). I immediately ran into the bathroom and noticed a thin film of blood on the condom and some blood on my pelvis area (directly below my belly button) which came into contact with her. Using a towell, I carefully removed the condoms and immediately took a shower to carefully wash any blood off my body with soap and water.  I don't have any cuts or scrapes in that regin and the blood was only on my pelvis for about 30 seconds.  This happened on March 16, 2006.

I am so afraid that some of the blood from the bottom of the condom got into the tip of my penis while taking off the condom and gave me HIV. I am also afraid that the blood on my pelvis area somehow seeped into my bloodstream giving me HIV. I have to tell you that I am a total hypo and after this experience, I became so worried that everytime I even thought about it I felt sick to my stomach and had cold sweats... Two days later on the 19 hour plane ride home, all I did was worry and stress.  When I got home on March 18th I hadn't eaten for days and still haven't slept.  I had diarrhea for a few days (march 18-20) mostly because of stress and the fact that my stomach was in knots.

During the week of march 19-24 all I experienced was SEVERE stress and anxiety. I was totally consumed with the idea that I got HIV that I didn't sleep, didn't eat and began to become completely drained. I still worked my 12 hour a day job on top of everything.  I could tell that my body couldn't take too much more of this, as I worried myself sick about stuff in the past, but never as serious as this. On Saturday, march 25, I developed a low grade fever which completely made me more scared and stressed out.  I had sweats which come with a fever that night.  By the morning the fever had passed.  However, the next two nights I again had a low grade fevers but no sweats.  Other than the fever I have no swolen lymph nodes anywhere, no rash, no mouth thrush, no anything.

The girl told me she was tested for HIV the month prior and was negative.  What are the odds I got HIV from this experience?
Could I have worred myself sick? Thanks

Condoms work equally well with or without exposure to menstrual blood.  And you used two of them, for goodness' sake!  Add to that her negative HIV test result, and there is zero risk you acuqired HIV from that exposure.  Therefore, whatever is causing your symptoms cannot be HIV, unless you have had other risks you don't describe.

As I have said many times on this forum, when a person suspects his or her own symptoms are due to stress, most of the time s/he is correct.  But if you're concerned, see a health care provider.

Are two condoms really better than one?  I always thought two put you at greater risk of condom failure.

Would you buy 20 cases of beer for a party of 2?

I am not sure why I worded that like I did, I meant that to be statement rather than a question.
