I was tested for Hep B & C plus a full STD panel 4 months after a sexual encounter.

HBs Ag screen - neg
Hep B Core Ab, tot - neg
I'm not sure about the Hep B Surface Ab, Anti-HBs level, it was not pos or neg.
Index value 0.00-0.99
Inconsistent with Immunity 0.00-0.99
Consistent with immunity >0.99
My doctor clear me but I'm not sure!!!! Help!!
Welcome to the Forum. I'll be happy to help interpret your test results for you. Your tests clearly show that you did not get either hepatitis B or hepatitis C from your encounter of concern. There is no reason for further testing or concern. If you have changed your sexual activity with your regular sex partner because of the encounter you mention, there is no reason to abstain from unprotected intercourse because of concern that you might have hepatitis and transmit it to your partner.
By the way, if you are concerned about sexually acquired hepatitis B, I would suggest you go on and get the hepatitis B vaccine. It is highly effective and safe. As for hepatitis C, there is no evidence that hepatitis C is transmitted through genital sexual activity.
