Hepititus C results

by nauticaboy_7, Mar 26, 2008 08:11PM
The first time i was tested for hepititus they said it was positive, the doctor said there are lots of false positives.  The doctor sent me to do another test the test was inconclusive.  Does this point to a positive result?  Or is it just that the tests aren't that accurate.  Now there going to send me to a specialist.   I so stressed out.  I'm thinking a positive and a neutral gives a positive.

I think you need to have a viral load test done, and what kind of hep C testing are you having done?

If its just the ELISA, you need to have a PCR done.

You can also check in with the Hep C forum here - they are much better with this than us over here in the STD forum.
