Herpes? Jock itch?

I began seeing a girl a few weeks ago, and we had unprotected sex.  This happened on 3 separate occasions.  After the last time, the following day I noticed a spot in between my scrotum and upper thigh.  The spots have been light red in color that are not really in a cluster but are somewhat near each other, and do not seem to resemble most of the pictures I have seen for herpes.  I have no spots on my penis.  My upper thigh tingles slightly as well but I cant see anything visually there.  I have had jock itch before, it does remind me of that but not as painful.  What I see does not seem to look much like jock itch or herpes too much, but most of the symptoms seem like it.  Tingling and some itching.  I have had ringworm before and it doesnt look much like ringworm, which is similar to jock itch.

How likely would it be to get herpes, but not have any spots on the penis?  I would think it might be jock itch, but the timing of when I noticed this makes me think it could be an STD.

It could happen.  I'd get it checked though.  It could be any of those things you mentioned.
