Herpes, pimple, ingrown hair

I had a small red bump on the crease where my thigh and vagina meet i ended up picking it off because it annoyed me I shaved down there a few days later and then in the exact same spot it reappeared i thought it was an ingrown hair so i plucked the hairs that I thought were causing the problem and waited a few days, it was still there so i popped it and blood came out and a little bit of clear pus now there is just an even smaller red bump...could this be an STI

Probably not, but you need to stop picking at it, and see your doctor.

Its very easy to get staph from your razors, and if its a staph infection, but picking it, you could spread the staph, or introduce other bacteria into it.

I know I shouldnt pick. that was dumb at me. i m worried it could be herpes its a small shiny red bump it doesnt itch or hurt i am going to see a doc tomorrow but what do you guys think

I already said it doesn't sound like an std, but I think seeing your doctor tomorrow is a good idea.

Well, it had hairs in it - herpes wouldn't have hairs.

The location lends itself to ingrown hairs or folliculitis and not herpes as well.

Herpes doesn't bleed.

You should still see your doctor though, as if its bad enough, you might need an antibiotic.
