Herpes Fear

I had protected vaginal sex with a CSW 4 days ago and I have now noticed a red bump below my penis tip. Is this possible? I mean, that area was covered by the condom. I know that herpes is still possible to spread even if you wear a condom but does it only pop up in the area where it entered (base of penis perhaps). Am I at risk now of HIV as well if I did contract herpes? Thanks so much in advance!
