. I'm kinda of embarrased to post here about this, but IM driving myself crazy. I have HPV(low risk wart strain) and from time to time they get irritated and sore. However, about 3 or 4 months ago, I developed this very small hard bump on my *area*. It was right near the bottom on the very inside of the lip, right before it goes to mucous membrane part. I normally get these if I shave or scratch or something, so I didnt think much of it. It didnt hurt. Well, about a week later, it started to burn, not extremely painful, but it just felt kind of raw. When I looked I had very tiny raw area. There was no liquid in it or around it. I put some peroxide on a bandaid, and applied it to the area. After applying the peroxide, about a day later, the area didnt hurt anymore, and it the raw area had gotten much smaller. I noticed there was a very tiny amount of green stuff on the bandaid but nothing else. I dont remember it bleeding, but if it did, the area was so small it wouldnt have been a noticable amount of blood. It was about the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen. Within another 24 hours, it was completely gone. It never blistered, scabbed or anything. Im thinking it was simply a cyst of some type, but I justw anted a second opinion on the matter. I havent had sex for over 8 months, and Ive only been with one person(but I guess that has nothing to do with it. Its kind of the unluck of the draw). I would love to hear some advice.
I tried using OTC wart treatment on my HPV, and got ended up with a red, sore-like area right near one of the areas I had used the treatment. Im thinking this must be just from the stuff(i think its like 17% salicyclic acid or something close to it.)
One more thing. I had white discharge and a burning when I went to the bathroom right around the time the first sore appears. I took some antibiotics and they both went away until a month later, after my period, I got the burning when peeing again.
Im getting it every month about a week after my period, but only for a day or two and then it usually stops.
