Herpes from being licked

I am new to the site.  I found a question/answer string that is very similar to my question.  I did not know how to reference it so i copy/pasted it.

This is my exact situation BUT I do not have HSV 1 (as of my last blood test a year ago).

Herpes transmission from being only being licked with tongue

A girl who had cold sores on her lips and chin area licked my penis head with the tip of her tongue, it was never in her mouth, would this be possible to transmit the oral herpes virus to my penis, I do get cold sores now and then so would the antibodies i have to oral herpes 1 make me almost immune to getting oral herpes on my penis.

Does your answer apply to my situation also.  You stated this...

Your Answer (what applies)
Most important, since you get cold sores, you already have HSV-1.  That makes you immune (or at least highly resistant) to catching a new HSV-1 infection.  You're never going to get genital herpes due to HSV-1, regardless of oral sex with partners with oral herpes.

But from an STD standpoint, there is no risk to you from HSV-1--even with more standard forms of oral sex, and certainly no significant risk from the tongue-only, light contact that you describe.

After reading it again, the difference in my situation is that we used a condom for the oral sex part.  However, she licked my scrotum.  Any thoughts?

If you do not have HSV1 and received oral sex from someone that has a cold sore at the time of the encounter, it is possible that you could have been infected genitally with HSV1.

You should get tested at 3-4 months.

The good news is that recurrences of genital HSV1 are rare and most people have HSV1, so it is not that big of a deal.
