Herpes or not?

Hey DOC, first of all thanks for doing the great work
my question is  that. i usually have pimple kind of thing grow on just blow my stomach where the pubic hair begins  (i am male)..not near the scortum never had any pimple on penis. but the pimple kind of thing on that area which leave the black skin but it goes away after few days. and leave the scar..no cold sore and nothing on face..no tingling feeling in penis does not have any puss in the pimples...could it be herpes outbreak or something else....i have had recieved unprotected oral..but only one incident is questionable..sorry my english is not that good..but pleae bare with me and waiting for your answer..thank you

Herpes seems unlikely.  "Pimple-like" usually isn't herpes; herpes starts with a very red spot that turns into a superficial blister, and only then becomes pimple-like.  Although herpes recurs in the same general area (e.g., left side of penile shaft), it generally does not reappear as a single lesion in exactly the same spot.  The location you describe is atypical for hepres. Finally, herpes generally doesn't leave a scar.  My guess is that you have a sebaceous cyst that gets inflamed periodically, or folliculitis.  See a health care provider next time the lesion flares up.

sorry ..after it goes away it leave the white kind of the thing on top of it and then leave the scar...sorry..again english is bad..

sorry..i am writting this in installment....everytime i read ..n e way...ok pimple kind of thing ...leave with white thing when it dry up..and it has hurt when i pee..but it has only for like 1 or 2 times ( too much masturbation could be the cuase of it). i do not know how to chech lymph nodes and other..and i do not have insurrance.so if i wanted to get tested ...could my county (i live in New York state) give me a free test or i have to pay for it...does it sound like herpes...should i take the test or not..and there no other pimples like that on my body..just thr..but only one or 2 which has gone away..but left some scar....and it has came back but gone away again...

The additional information does not change my opinion or advice.  Look in the government section of your phone book for your county health department, or go online to find it.  It is probable they run an STD clinic; or if a smaller county, provide STD services in a more general public health clinic.  The care will be confidential, expert, and probably free or a small fee or donation based on your income.

i just went to a clinical..and the nurse said it is a hair follicle cuz i shave my pubic hair.tht is what cuased it..thanks for your time DOC HHH..appreciate a lot

Dear Doc,

For over 3 months (continuosly), i'm having a tingiling, itching, in my genital area. The skin is sensitive and is red, and sometimes it becomes sore!!! and i do have 2 tiny bumps , but i never seen any blister!!!! Can these be herpes???? And there is another thing, my skin in the whole body is more sensitive, even if i scratch very soft it becomes very red, but it goes after a few minutes!!! and also my hands become like prunes for only 1 minute in the water???? So can you please give me some advise of what can this be?????
