Herpes or side effect?

by MedHelpMePlz, Dec 05, 2008 10:00AM
I was recently treated for a single anal wart using trichloroacetic acid. Above my wart was a small, open sore. I recently shaved my entire pubic area and was convinced that's what it was from. Now I am not sure, because he still hasn't gone away. It bleeds if there is friction, and when I dab it with toilet paper, the blood is mixed with a somewhat-sticky, slightly yellow-tinted liquid. I was wondering if this could be because the trichloroacetic acid got into the open sore, or if I should worry about it being herpes. I really don't know what I would do if I had more than one STD...If I need to explain anything further, please tell me. Thank you.

Also, I forgot to mention that the "sore" does not itch or burn or anything. It's just kind of there. The only thing that itches a little is where the wart was (which is now practically gone from the acid).
