Herpes or something else

The other day I noticed a very small skin colored pimple like bump on the dark brown ring from where I was sercumsized of my penis. I noticed it while masterbating (masturbating), as it hurt when I rubbed it. I could only see it when I was erect, and it only hurt when I touched while erect. After I showered I washed it with soap a little bit latter the bump was gone but remained sour until the next day (may have been psycological.) There was no puss or liquid from it that I saw. I have not been sexual with a woman for about 6 months when I was having unprotected sex with my girl friend at the time. About four months ago I received unprotected oral sex breifly from a girl I didnt know who I met when I went out one night. I masterbate very frequently and wasn't using lubricant at the time the bump appeared. I was wondering if it is a herpies (herpes), irritation or just a pimple? Can you get pimples on your penis? Certainly pimples occur on the penis.  From your description, that sounds like a good bet.  But if in doubt, and especially if a similar lesions reappears in more or less the same spot, see a health care provider to be sure.
