Herpes

Herpes

I am a woman and I received unprotected oral from a person with unknown status. 2-3 weeks later there was one blister like sore appearing near the pubic hair area (slightly above the vagina opening). The blister went away on its own after 2 weeks or so. It didn't open up or scab. The size of the blister just got smaller over time as if the fluid inside got drained. Another 2 weeks later (which is now), the blister like sore reappears at the same spot. It is painful to touch and fluid filled just like before.
Does this sound like Herpes to you?

The location is atypical; herpes doens't usually occur in the pubic hair area.  But if the lesions is truly blister-like, it could be herpes.  But note that 'blister-like' means very superficial, with completely clear fluid--which then turns cloudy over a couple of days.  If the lesion actually has yellow pus in it from the start, then folliculitis or an infected sebaceous cyst is more likely.

But this is only speculation, and you must not rely on my opinion based on your description.  See a health care provider for proper diagnosis.

Good luck--  HHH, MD
