The location is
atypicalAtypical pneumonia; herpes doens't usually occur in the
pubicPubic lice hair area. But if the lesions is truly blister-like, it could be herpes. But note that 'blister-like' means very superficial, with completely clear fluid--which then turns cloudy over a couple of days. If the lesion actually has yellow pus in it from the start, then folliculitis or an infected sebaceous cyst is more likely.
But this is only speculation, and you must not rely on my opinion based on your description. See a health care provider for proper diagnosis.
