Heterosexual Mutual Masturbation

by lambo24, Jan 05, 2009 12:47PM
Hi there

I am a male who recently had mutual masturbation with an 18 year old female of unknown status.  I stimulated her whilst she masturbated me whilst rubbing my glans (and urethra) to ejaculation.  I did not touch my penis after touching her, nor did she touch her own vagina at any point.  However, I am worried that I may have touched areas such as her clothing after touching her vagina, and she may subsequently have touched these areas before stroking my glans and urethra.

Is there any risk of STIs in my case?  I am an avid reader of HHH's forum and he says that mutual masturbation is "essentially zero risk for anything except syphilis, of which there is a small risk"  However, I think he is referring to gay men mutually masturbating.  Do I need testing for syphilis, or any other STI, or am I just freaking out?

Many thanks

No risk-yes possible syphilis but that is rare among women.

Hi Vance,  thanks for that, but does my syphilis risk warrant testing, or is it just so unlikely?  Also, is my point about touching her clothes (and possibly leaving a residue for her to touch) valid?

The clothing thing isn't possible - stds don't live long enough outside the body to cause any real risk.

And I don't see any need to get tested.  If you notice any symptoms, and I doubt you will, then see your doc, but the risks of this are next to nothing, if there are any at all.

Thanks for that - can I just double check that your advice applies to all STIs, inc. HIV and syphillis...

PS:  you can probably tell I'm a little OCD! :-)

Yes, it applies to everything.
