STDS EXPERT FORUM
Hey doc.

Hey doc.

Hello.

I just wanted to pass on some new developments.  I went5 to a clinic to get some tests done.  The did HIV but I won't have the results for a week.  They also did a urine test for bacterias and I was clean from any of those.  It only took a few minutes to test for those.  Is it accurate?

On to my current status.  I have still to develop any physical symptoms on my penis of herpes.  I am still having discomfort in my lower abdomen (seems to be more on the left side of my body) and have some VERY small cluster of blisters on my lips (mainly on the corners and the middle/top of the upper lip).  They don't hurt and haven't busted open yet and it has been about 5 days.

Now keeping in mind that I won't have insurance for another month or so, Are the blisters on the mouth anything to be concerned about, and is there anything I should be doing to expidite their departure?  Also, since I am still having abdomen/groin discomfort after almost a week should I be getting worried yet. Many places that I have seen have said it is a classic sign of herpes.  I have been told that if it can't be caused by the cold that I am currently recovering from because that only effect the lymph nodes  in the neck while lymph node pain down there indictaes an infection below the equator.

Please be patient with my persistant questions.  I am feeling a bit better about possibly having an STD, but am still extremely nervous (especialy about the groin discomfort).  I am trying not to stress too much about, but sometimes I need a sounding board.

No STD causes any of the symptoms you describe.  I can't say much about the "blisters" on your mouth, but if they were due to herpes they would have evolved from bumps to blisters to pimple-like lesions, to open sores or scabs within 5 days.  The groin symptoms also don't sound like anything except maybe anxiety-related.  You are making too many assumptions about possible problems.  You need a professional diagnosis; I can't help further with on-line responses.  Sorry--
