I am a very normal healthy young man with a girlfriend. On a business trip this week I was with a call in escort. During our encounter the condom broke and now I am scared beyond belief.
It problably lasted for about 30 seconds while the condom was broke.
How likely if this lady were to be HIV positive that she would have transmitted it to me?
How long do I wait to get an HIV test?

If a person has hiv can that person transmit other diseases or just hiv? Like can the hiv person give someone clymadia and not hiv?
Doc, ive been virgin up until now and i dont even wanna call what happend last night as sex...to qoute a movie it was more like just the tip there really was no moving...we decided not to finish and finished orally....I came to find the girl had been bleeding....i had fingered her before and i htink that caused it but could not see cuz it was dark....the girl tells me she just had a anual pap recnetly and all was clear...i got a test for clymidia and gonorhea but the doctor said since i showed now symptons he doubted i was infected...however then i started to worry bout HIV i know that blood and vaginal fluid both transmit HIV, but i didnt really start worring bout HIV till after the Doc told me I prolly didnt have a bacterial infection. I had no condom on i just wanted to see how it felt....it was in for maybe 30 second....im just curious what my risk is...she todl me she had a HIV test a year ago becuase she got a tatoo and that is required. I am freaking out a bout this and was wondering if anyone could offer insight into my level of exposure...the girl told me she had had 2 parnters since her HIV test came back negative....am I worrying too mucha bout this....and is it partly frighetning cuz its my first time? the exact thing that worriedyoungman happen to me bout two and a half weeks ago(cept it was a mexican stripper/***** in a brothel)...it's amazing what alcohol will do to you..i was kicking my self horribly cuz i was a virgin before that.great way to start off i say...i heard brothel workers were the safest(shrugs)...ne ways she said she was clean cuz i was freaking out and asked her afterwords she says she gets tested every 2 months or so...during the first 6 days i started to have a pain above my testicles i got test for std's(chlamydia,gonnaryra,syphilis,hiv) bout 11 days in.. the result was negitive ...my question was how accurate is the eia/test 11 days in..i fear my Lymph Nodes above my groin(a sign of hiv) is causeing the pain also a slight on and off fever

The exposure was zero risk and "pressure in the lower abdomen" is not a symptom of herpes. See a dctor if your symtpoms persist, but they have nothing to do wiht the sxual exposure do describe.

Please answer my question, i am in extreme anxiety ,all alone in a foreign land and without access to medical care or credit card. i fingered a sex worker, touched my unprocted penis with the same hand, then touched my penis on her buttocks for a few seconds and then rubbed my penis on her back ( well above the waist) when i came. i got tested for hiv at 40 days, came back negative. waiting for my herpes results now. i have intense pressure in my lower abdomen which some sites suggest as herpes symtom. i am extremely scared. i dont have any other symtoms. from the doctor's answers to similar question, i know i am at zero risk,but this abdomen pressure being a herpes symtom is scaring me while i wait for the results. thank you very much.sorry for this comment.but cant help the anxiety
Your chances of getting HIV from any 1 encounter with someone KNOWN to have HIV and without a condom is something like 5 in 10,000 so the odd's are in your favor. A definitive test for HIV should be taken at 13 weeks from possible exposure.

The odds are your escort did not have HIV; other than street walkers and brothel workers, many (most?) commercial sex workers in the US have lower HIV infection rates than average sexually active women. Middle and upper income sex workers tend to stick with safe sex (as with you) and many get checked for STDs and HIV frequently. Even if she had HIV, the chance you would have been infected in a single episode of vaginal sex is somewhere in the range of 1 in 1000-2000. All in all, your risk is low enough that I do not recommend HIV testing. But you might want to do it if a negative test will be more reassuring than my words.
