Hiv testing

Hi Doctor:

I had insertive oral sex and i know the risk is low when it comes to the insertive partner but regardless im worried i contracted HIV that manner because symptoms that i got a few days after which was a sore throat and fatigue.

1)Anyhow i tested negative after 3 weeks post exposure and negative 6 weeks post exposure. I wanted to know is that reliable enough.Could i be sure i dont have Hiv or those tests mean nothing in regards to the 3 month mark?

2) Is Pcr/dna testing reliable after 6 weeks post exposure and if that is negative could i be sure that i dont have it?

3) Is there any test out there that could tell my Hiv status before the 3 month mark?

If Hiv could be contracted through insertive oral sex then im scared i contracted it..its wierd i felt symptoms after 2 days that prolonged for 2 weeks.

Im scared and i just cant wait for the 3 months.

Titotito:  We've been through this before; you requested the same reassurance a month or so ago.  The answers haven't changed.  Your risk was low, the symptoms you describe are much more likely due to another virus than HIV, and most important your negative tests at 3 and 6 weeks prove you didn't get HIV.  You should not spend the money on a PCR test.  You don't really need a 3 month testt, but feel free to get one if it will make you feel better.

The high level of persistent anxiety/fear despite the reassurance you have been given--not only by me, but probably by the providers who have tested you--is abnormal.  Consider mental health counseling.

titotito - you don't have HIV.  You would be the first documeneted case ever from a guy geting HIV from recieving oral from a woman.  It hasn't happened before.  Go to a counselor not the HIV testing center.

The Dr. has said on here that HIV tests are almost 99% accurate at 6 weeks. I had an encounter with an escort were I used my fingers on her and kissed her. I know this is "low-risk," but i'm still going to get tested so I can sleep again at night.
