Be relieved that this is likely not an STD if the pain or burning sensation is not experienced during urination and in fact urination relieves this sensation. I have had some patients come to me with the same story and one thing seems common. They all have the need to urinate immediately after ejaculation. And they all claim to experience this more after consiming heavy amounts of alcohol. The fact is this...the logical reason this is happening is that when you have sex or masturbate on a full bladder, sometimes a little urine tries to escape when you ejaculate. This mix will cause  a temporary irritation in the prostate, making you feel a constant need to urinate. The best advice is to try to empty your bladder as best as possible before and during sexual activity. A quick trip to the bathroom will eliminate the many trips after. Good luck to everyone!
