How my g/f could have got herpes from stripping in a strip club?

My g/f came to me last week and told me that she had been told by her doctor that she has Herpes Type-2. She has been stripping for almost 7 years now. Other then having sex with me. She told me that she hasn't ever had sex with anyone else in the last 7 years beside an old boyfriend and her ex-husband. She told me that she had been checked about 5 years ago and came up clean of no dieases.

1) Is there anyway that if she was giving a man a lap dance and he pulled out his private and rubbed it on her private could she have gotten herpes from him?

2) What are some of the ways that she could have catched herpes while stripping in the strip club?

3) If I have it then how will I ever know if she got it from stripping on a man in a strip club giving him a lap dance or from the other two guys she was with in the past 7 years?

Thanks for all your help and time as well with this matter. It's driving me crazy knowing that I might have this STD and don't know if she got it from an ex or from stripping.

How was she diagnosed as having hsv2?  Was it a visual diagnosis? Was it a blood test?  Was it a lesion culture and typing that came back as + for hsv2 or just a lesion culture that came back as + for hsv and it's assumed it's hsv2 because it's genital?

Have you been tested for herpes yet to know your own status?

You can get herpes from direct skin on skin contact - it doesn't take actual penetration. Depending on who tests + for what depends on how likely you are to figure out who  had it first.  Also she'll need to check her last std testing results to see if she was even tested for herpes back then. Chances are good that she's never been tested for herpes before this. It's not a part of routine std testing at most clinics unfortunately.
