I Am Pregnant and have Syphilis

hi everyone i am 3 months and 4 days pregnant this is my first child and i also have syphilis i am really worried about losing the baby and the have me on antibiotics will the antibiotics hurt the baby or heal the baby? i need some answers

Hey, good that you are being treated so early. I believe if you are treated in the first trimester that the chances of having a healthy baby is great. They estimate that the fetus usually is not infected until around the 15th to 17th week is what I have read, so best of luck for both of you! It is great that you know that you are positive and the doctor can keep close track of you during your pregnancy. Obviously you are worried but statistics and research are on your side!

im in the same predictiment but havent got my test results back i am 13 weeks pregnant and think i have syphilis im scared for the baby and me i want to have a healthy pregnancy and i fear the worst does any one have any answers for me ?
