I have a ?

ok here it goes. before my husband and i got married he told me that he was a virgin but then latter he told me he wasnt. soon after he told me he wasnt a virgin he started having moldy looking white bumbs on his penis then i stated having  the same thing and the drs told me that it was clomydia ? so they gave me medication for it but i ddint take  it for about a year latter becuase my husband didnt have the medication. wel i went to try  to donate blood so i took the pills then. i took teh blood test and it came back w/ nothing well atleast they didnt call me back w/ anything bad. i was wondering if it is out of my symstem since we dont hae the bumps or signs for the pas year. i was treated for the bumps with acid which hurt like hell. my husbands just went away. and can it affect my abbilty to get preg becaue we are trying to have a baby  now? any advice would be good

The bumps sound like genital warts, due to human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.  Don't worry about getting pregnant.  There is a teeny chance of transmitting HPV to the baby, but it's rare--especially if you don't have visible warts when you go into labor.  (When you get pregnant, tell your health care provider you have had genital warts in the past; he or she can then be on the lookout for recurrent warts during your pregnancy.)

None of this sounds like chlamydia.  However, your husband may have had more than one infection.  But to be safe, have your doctor do a test for chlamydia on you; it's no big deal, can be done either during a pelvic exam or with a urine test.

The only STD blood tests done when you donate blood are for HIV (the AIDS virus) and hepatitis B.  I'm glad they are negative, but they don't tell you anything about chlamydia, HPV, or other STDs.
