Hi I would greatly appreciate if anyone has some advice or information. Here is what happend.I am 26 male  5 months ago i had sex with a sex trade worker in the Dominican when i pulled out my condom was off . I totaly am ashamed of this but i cant take it back. A few days after i developed a sore throat which has not gone away but has moved into my neck area for  pretty well 4-5  months and the pain moves from the left to the right it almost feels like its in my glands but it moves around my lower neck area. Also a short time later i started getting pain in my testicles and it gradually worsend and i have had constant pain there for months also.  The head of my penis has had red marks dots a few times but has gone away. It has had a wrinkley look to it all this time.I also get sharp pains in my chest armpit area and my Doc sais it is muscle I know it isnt muscle pain i know what that feels like.

I have been to the doctor for tests  with swab and urine and came up negative but this is after i was on doxycycline. Could that make a false test?.   I have been Doxy twice 2 weeks apart,Cefixme. and zithmycin. When i have been on the Zithmycin and doxy the pain seems to subside but come back could this be cause i waited a couple months to get checked and the infection strengthened.  I need help i have been to the Doc over ten times with no improvement And my Doc wants me to wait to be tested again as he thinks i may have trich i have been on antibiotics for two days no improvment..  I have been a wreck for months and in pain i dont know what to do .Should i go to a sexual health clinic to get tested or should wait until im done the antibiotic like my Doc sais its just been so long that i have had this im afraid i shouldnt wait anymore.

I am really getting worried that i have hiv. My epydimitis has not gone away in months with treatment for Clymidia and gonnerea and i had negative tests. Also had negative for mono. I developed a sore throat for few days after exposure and then the pain moved to my glands in my neck and has been there for 3-4 months and ive had what feels like sharp,burning pains in armpit area all this time.

Also my penis head has been wrinkly and i had painless red dots a couple times on inside of foreskin and head that has cleared up but it is still pail looking and wrinkly.

I Had pains in my testes for just over a month before i seeked help becuase i was scared and was hopeing it would go away couls this have caused a infecion to not go away easily even after being treated? My doc has know sent me for a syphilis test .Sorry i know im rambling but im not good at puting my thoughts together.

Only dischare while sleeping? Probably not STD related because STD discharge will happen at anytime and all times during the day.

Hi on three occasions i have also had a discharge while sleeping it has been clear slimy. It has happend twice even after treatment. Could it be pus from having epydimitis for 4 months ? .I am going back to the Doc on tuesday for another swab but i am really concerned that the test well show negative again and the pain will just go on. I know it sounds crazy but i almost want to test positive so i know what i have for sure . Any help advice.Thanks

I would wait a week to 2 weeks.
Neck pain...yes there are lymph nodes in that area. But lymph nodes swell for many different reasons.

I had done something that I regretted afterwards and could sware I had testicular pain, went to the Dr, could not find anything wrong. I started to move past the incident and gues what the pain went away...it was in my head.

Hi thanks for the response.  He did prescribe me metronidazole  3 times daily for 7 days after I asked him if it could be trich. I have read that the symptoms for men are not noticable often so that has me worried as i have been in pain for a while.  The other thing i have never had any dishcharge that i am certain of a couple times in the past months i have had possibly a clear slimy fluid but im not sure. I had a ultrasound done on my testicles there was nothing my doc was alarmed about. I took a peek at the report and it said something like slight change in vas deferens or epydimus possible hydrocele but my doc said everthing is fine.

The thing that bothers me is my Doc has actually questioned my pain he has asked if it is all in my head. I am not crazy its not as if i am feeling slight pain my neck and testicles hurt quite bad im not imagining it and i have the pain in my armpits and he trys to tell me its muscle i have never felt these sharp pains before i know its not just in my head.

I guess i will have to wait to see if pain goes done in next few days if it doesnt should that mean it is not working or do i have to wait a good week ?. Aslo the pain in my neck could that be swollen lymph nodes ? Is there lymphnodes in that area?.  More responses would be appreciated .Thanks

Sounds like you can rule out gonorrhea and chlamydia both with the antibiotic use and negative swab tests.

Your symptoms are consistent with trich infection in men; the testicular pain suggests epididymitis.

Follow up with your doctor's directions. Did he prescribe metronidazole? That is used to treat trich. If so, give it time to work.
