I have an unknown thing on tip of penis

What is on my penis? Do I have an STD? it is red and attached to the side of my urethra and protrudes only occasionally. Occasional pain after I ajaculate and then urinate. This has been going on longer than the protrusion. The protrusion appeared a little over a month ago. I have only had protected sex with my girlfriend who was a virgin before we had sex. I also recieve oral sex from her. And the only time I had sex with somebody else was over a year ago with a girl I know nothing about. And it was unprotected and I also recieved oral from her. Should I be concerned?
