I know ppl post this a lot, but I have red bumps on the head of my penis

Yeah... I have these red bumps on the head of my penis(all around, not just on the rim) .  I've had these bumps since I was 12 and I am now 17, I was just always too afraid to talk about it.   I was wondering if anyone knew what they were, or if anyone had them too?  I've been all over the net and I have read the symptoms of herpes, genital warps and I've heard of pearly penis papules.  I'm really hoping they're only papules, but all of the pix I''ve seen talk about how people only have them around the rim of the penis.

The bumps on my penis are kinda pearly, but they're on top of the head as well as around the rim.  The bumps dont itch or anything and they stay forever, they have never bled or blistered...

I know everything tells me to just go and get an official check up, but the fact of the matter is that I'm deathly afraid and I would just like some input from anyone who maybe can identify (or identifies) with my problem?
