I need some HELP!

by rob32, Nov 06, 2009 01:48PM
Hi I'm a 20yr old male who has never been sexually active. I have for the past five months experienced skin irritation mainly in my genital area, but other parts of my body as well (arms, chest, legs and feet) I have also had little non-raised red spots in groin area, which never have appeared in clusters, but have appeared regularly. Recently the skin on my scrotum has had dry flaky skin. It has been a burning itch for the past months. :(  I have also been experiencing what appears to be urinary infections on and off. Although I have had them since childhood. The itch doesn't seem to effect the shaft of the penis, but sometimes the head is irritated considerably,
my symtoms look exactly like this:

I have also on and off had dry irritated lips and mild thrush symptoms. (sores, white coatings) Also my saliva is always very thick and slimy. I have been tired and get regular head aches. Can this be Candida or is it something worse?

I saw on the internet that there is a "Candida Spit Test"
I tried it and seemed to test have all indications of Candida

Any input and advice is welcomed, Please help... its been a long and torturous six months :(

It sounds exactly like candida to me. Not an std.  Until you can get to a doctor for a recommended treatment from them, you should try eating as much unsweetened yogurt as you can.  Candida likes sugar.  So lay off the sugar.  You can also try drinking a bit of apple cider vinegar every day.  Do not use white vinegar...candida thrives on that too

See if the pharmacist at your local pharmacy can recommend a good anti-fungal to treat your groin area.  Also, supplementing with acidophilus can be helpful.

Other than that, you will have to see a doctor.  Those ideas i gave you are things that can slow it down and help clear it up, but they are slow acting. It seems you have a severe case so please see a doctor.  Hope this helps.
