I was tested in December for Herpes IgM and IgG testing was done My IgM came back at .95 (Equvical) then 2 weeks later I had to go to get my annual Pap Smear and My doctor always run all STD's Screeing on me I told him that My last sexual encounter was December 11,2008 So for the Herpes test he gave me both the IgM test and IgG again this time the IgM came back at 1.10 and the IgG came back Negative. But he told me that I most defintely had it and needed to start treatmeant. My question could I still come up negative when i go back to get tested in 3 months or will it automactilly come back positve because my doctor said so? please help me very very worried. I always use protection I have been with two guys in the last seven months last encounter was a one time thing.

The IgM is a worthless test for herpes, and shouldn't ever be used as a diagnostic tool for adults.

Your IgG was negative, and that means you don't have herpes.

Here is some info on it for you.  Share it with your doctor if you'd like -
