I'm not sure what I may have, I'm scared to tell my mom

Well, I have been sleeping around with this one guy for three months, but in the three months we have only hooked up three times. He has slept with a number of different girls (in the 20s?!). After the second time we had sex, i noticed a sore on my vagina that burned when pee passed over it. I tried not to worry too much thinking maybe I just had cut it shaving. Well about a month later, which was just about a week from today, we hooked up but i only gave him oral sex. A few days later i noticed my throat was really sore, and my tonsils became swollen and had white pus spots all over them. My mom checked it and assumed it was strep so she ordered me some antibiotics (amoxicillin). I was too afraid to tell her I thought it could be something else. I read online that if it was chlamydia or gonorrhea that amoxicillin would usually treat it. I'm still worried about the sore on my vagina, but I am still afraid to tell my mom as she thinks I am still a virgin. Could it be herpes or syphilis?! What should I do? I haven't talked to the guy about it either, just because I don't want him to never talk to me agian, though i do not plan on sleeping with him anymore. To make matters worse, the amoxicillin gave me a yeast infection, which makes it even harder to tell what i may have.

It sounds a lot like it might be herpes to me.  But only the proper blood test can tell for sure.  I'm sorry you feel like you cannot talk to your mother.  Maybe there is a free std clinic near you that will be able to help you?
